CHICO, Calif. — The Butte County Sheriff's Office has expanded its Records Unit to the North County Service Center in Chico.
Starting Friday, two records clerks will be available to assist the community at 402 Otterson Drive, Suite 120. The location will operate from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, matching the hours of the main office in Oroville.
Residents can submit and pick up records requests, process alarm permits and obtain vehicle release slips for towed vehicles. The center will also handle general CCW inquiries and document drop-offs, as well as create calls for service.
