A fire at Edinburgh's Arthur's Seat remains ongoing four hours after emergency services were called to the area.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed crews remain in attendance at the iconic landmark after the alarm was raised shortly before 4pm on Sunday, August 10.
Four pump appliances and specialist resources have been mobilised to the scene as firefighters work to extinguish the blaze which has taken hold of a huge area of gorse.
The service also confirmed there are no reported casualties, as several eye witnesses reported people fleeing the scene as the ferocious blaze spread rapidly.
