Tennessee basketball senior guard and 2022 Michigan Miss Basketball Ruby Whitehorn was arrested in Knox County, Tennessee on Friday, Aug. 8, according to court records obtained by Knox News.

Records show that Whitehorn, 21, faces charges of aggravated burglary and domestic assault after the Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic dispute in North Knox County at 4:18 p.m. on Aug. 8. Both charges are felonies.

Whitehorn is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 12 at 8:30 a.m.

"We are aware of the situation and are continuing to gather additional information," a Tennessee spokesperson told Knox News on Aug. 10.
