STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York City’s air quality will suffer Sunday and Monday as pollutants fill the air.

According to AirNow, a website run by the Environmental Protection Agency and its partners, New York City’s air is — and will continue to be — “Unhealthy of Sensitive Groups.”

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation issued an air quality advisory from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday for over a dozen counties, including Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester.
