Fourth arrest made in connection with shooting that left 1 dead, another injured

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that resulted in one death and another person hospitalized.

According to the Columbus Police Department, on Wednesday, August 6, CPD’s Fugitive Unit, along with Special Operations, arrested 20-year-old Derrin Mabry on outstanding warrants for the following:

Murder

Aggravated Assualt

Criminal Attempted Robbery

Derrin appeared in Recorder’s Court Friday morning, and the case was bound over to Superior Court.
