After shuttering its longtime riverboat casino along the Des Plaines River, Hollywood Casino's new facility will officially open to the public on Monday.

The $185 million land-based property at the Interstate 80 and Interstate 55 interchange features approximately 1,000 slots and 43 live table games, including high-limit slots and table games, a baccarat room and an ESPN BET sportsbook, according to a news release from the casino's parent company, Penn Entertainment.

NBC Chicago was given a sneak peek of the restaurants, bars and entertainment spaces last week, though the casino floor was off limits.
