EAST HAMPTON, Connecticut — A 25-year-old man was pulled unconscious from Lake Pocotopaug on Sunday evening after reportedly striking his head when he jumped from a moving pontoon boat, according to East Hampton Police.
The East Hampton Police Department said emergency crews responded around 5:37 p.m. after receiving a report of an unconscious man in the water.
Family members had already pulled him from the lake and brought him to the Sears Park boat launch on North Main Street.
Police said the man was unconscious but breathing when first responders arrived. He was transported to a hospital.
The incident remains under investigation. No further information was immediately available.
