SEATTLE — One day after his No. 51 jersey retirement , Ichiro Suzuki took to the field at T-Mobile Park to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Seattle Mariners.
Attendees at Sunday’s game were treated to an iconic pairing as Suzuki threw the first pitch to former Seattle Mariners pitcher Randy Johnson.

The first pitch honor caps off a nearly two-weeklong celebration of Ichiro's induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame on July 22.
Suzuki is the first Japanese-born player inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
