Congratulations to Middletown running back Makai Walker, who received the most votes in the Delaware Online preseason Delaware high school football Player of the Year poll, presented by Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists.

Walker won an online vote over seven other nominees. Check out the nominees for preseason Player of the Year in a different fall sport each Monday on Delaware Online and vote for your favorite. Voting is free and runs Monday through Thursday, with the weekly winner announced each Friday.
