PHILADELPHIA — Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson appeared to suffer a right knee injury during Sunday night’s public practice at Lincoln Financial Field.
Dickerson laid on the ground for a while and clutched at his right knee. Coming off the field, he was unable to put pressure on his leg and needed assistance to walk. Then he was carted to the locker room.
If he misses an extended period of time, the Eagles’ interior offensive line could become a weakness. There’s already uncertainty on the right side with Tyler Steen .
Matt Pryor would be the top candidate to replace Dickerson.
Pryor had the best year of his career last season with the Chicago Bears , ranking as the 31st best guard in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus. But he wasn’t a good starter in previous seasons
