ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man is in custody for fatally wounding another man during an argument on a north city street corner in the Kingsway East neighborhood.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened at the intersection of Kingshighway Boulevard and St. Louis Avenue.

Our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that police arrived at the scene just after 9 a.m. and found a man who’d been shot multiple times. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died. He was 50.

Police said the victim was on the corner with a group of people. At one point, an argument begins, and one of the men, Demetrice Ginger, pulls out a pistol and shoots the victim once.
