HOUSTON - Houston police are responding to an officer-involved shooting.

What we know:

The police response is in the 8000 block of Aspen Meadow Drive, the department said in their release around 8:10 p.m. Sunday.

The department says their current information shows officers pursued a robbery suspect who got out of his vehicle with a weapon in his hand.

No officers were injured, HPD says.

What we don't know:

The identity and condition of the suspect is not known at the time of publishing.

What's next:

Houston PD says they will release more information once responders are at the scene. FOX 26 will update this article once more details are announced.
