After a decent showing at last year’s White Marlin Open , Michael Jordan’s fishing yacht was on Sunday scored second place in the White Marlin category at the 2025 White Marlin Open in Ocean City this weekend, losing out on the $3.9 million first-place prize by a pound.
Jordan’s Catch 23 sportfishing yacht landed a 71-pound white marlin on Saturday, boosting its team to second place and increasing their earnings to $385,397 for the catch.
The first-place white marlin catch went to the Billfisher sportfishing yacht, reeled in by Dan Gough, of Ocean City, who caught a 72-pound white marlin worth $3,913,479 days earlier on Aug. 6.
