Seymour breaks ground for new fire station

The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department celebrated a significant milestone on Friday, August 8th, by breaking ground at their new location on 10320 Chapman Highway in Seymour. The ceremony, which had a strong turnout from community partners, began with welcoming and opening remarks, followed by a prayer led by Cory Cain.

Chief John Linsenbigler offered acknowledgments and special thanks, highlighting three key milestones in the establishment of the new fire station: the expansion, the modernization of fleet vehicles, and the groundbreaking ceremony itself. He stated, “Today’s ceremony is about recognizing the many individuals and groups whose dedication and partnership have brought us to this moment.”
