AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Sod Poodles fell to the Midland Rockhounds in the series finale by a score of 9-2, but still secured the series win on the road.

The only two runs would come from Caleb Roberts off a solo shot in the second frame and a Jean Walters RBI single to score Gavin Logan in the fifth inning.

It would stay a close game until then, when Midland would score seven unanswered runs to win the game.

Alec Baker would get the start on the mound for the Sod Poodles, but was relieved 3.1 innings in after allowing two runs and four hits.
