Students seeking a nursing degree will soon have another option in northeast Indiana.

Grace College announced this summer it will introduce a Bachelor of Science in nursing program for freshmen beginning next fall.

The Winona Lake institution has previously partnered with Bethel University in Mishawaka to offer nursing degrees. By launching its own program, the college will allow nursing majors to participate in campus life activities and earn a Grace diploma, a news release said.

Grace is eager for the transition, said Kristen Richmond, the college’s nursing director.
