SALT LAKE CITY — A man was in critical condition Sunday after a stabbing in Salt Lake City, police said.
According to police, harsh words were exchanged between two men before the alleged suspect stabbed the victim near Pioneer Park. The 33-year-old man was arrested four or five blocks away from the scene, police said.
A 76-year-old victim of the stabbing was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said they don't know if the two men knew each other.
On Sunday night, crime scene tape was in Pioneer Park while scene investigators were due to arrive.
