David Lynch never got to join the gatherings of “ Twin Peaks ” fans in New Jersey this past weekend.

But he had been scheduled to take part in the events, series producer Sabrina S. Sutherland told the Lynch faithful in Red Bank Saturday.

“The one person who was supposed to be here, David Lynch, was going to join us, actually, via Zoom, and was very excited about this whole tour ,” she said.

Lynch , the treasured, one-of-a-kind film director (“ Blue Velvet ,” “ Eraserhead ,” “ Mulholland Drive ” and more) and co-creator of the show that changed TV, died in January, at 78.

But that didn’t stop him from being everywhere in the series of “Twin Peaks” cast events happening across the country for the show’s 35th anniversary.
