Chatham County is under a Flash Flood Warning until 4AM. An additional 1-3 inches of rain will be possible during this time.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 6AM as the chance for localized flooding increases. Be safe while driving in the dark, water-covered roadways will be hard to see.
The heaviest rain will be closer to the coast early this morning, with heavy rain bands working up the Savannah River. There is also a threat for weak waterspouts to move onshore through the early morning hours.
