A car was left covered in ketchup in vandalism attack in south Warwickshire . Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhood Team has issued an appeal to the community about the criminal damage.

Officers say unknown suspects caused the damage to a red Peugeot 107 that was parked at the roadside outside a residential property along the main road through Old Milverton.

The suspects put a red substance, believed to be tomato ketchup. on the windscreen. They also broke off the windscreen wiper-blade.

Now they are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or those who have any CCTV footage to come forward. It took place between 7pm on Saturday night (August 9) and 8.25am yesterday morning (Sunday, August 10).
