PHILADELPHIA — Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson grimaced on the ground in pain, holding his right leg, late in the Eagles’ 2-hour, 10-minute open scrimmage at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday night.

Concerned teammates gathered around him. Training staff and chief security officer Dom DiSandro helped him off the field, and then he was carted into the locker room. He appeared to twist his right ankle, perhaps with another player’s shoe underneath his, while pass blocking.

Dickerson, 26, was selected to his third straight Pro Bowl last year. He signed a four-year, $84 million contract extension in March. There was no immediate update on his injury.

Tyler Steen seems to have won the starting job at right guard, but he could shift over to the left side if Dickerson is out. Kenyon Green
