Intel is building a $28 billion microchip project northeast of Columbus. Honda and LG Energy Solution EV are building a massive battery plant in Jeffersonville, and Anduril Industries is planning a giant autonomous weapons manufacturing facility in Pickaway County. All are in central Ohio.
Why not Northeast Ohio?

But you might be able to thank Lorain for attracting Intel to Ohio as a whole.
In 2021, Lorain Councilwoman Mary Springowski sent an email to Intel’s CEO, urging the tech giant to consider building its next chip manufacturing pla
