Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, but he never made it to the game.
Wallace suffered an undisclosed injury and was placed on injured reserve by the Jaguars. He can be released from injured reserve with an injury settlement, which would make him a free agent. It is unknown if his injury is truly season-ending.
Wallace’s struggles were on a national stage last season when he failed to contain former Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Instead, Jeudy went off for a career-high 235 yards, much of which was on Wallace.
