MADISON, Wis. -- The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 10th Annual Madison Black Restaurant Week from Aug. 10-17.
Championed by Milele Chikasa Anana, the first Madison Black Restaurant Week was held in 2015, making it the first of its kind in the country, according to the MBRW website .
Throughout the week, a total of 33 black-owned vendors will be featured. That includes seventeen restaurants and sixteen food trucks and caterers.
As a part of the week of celebration, the MBRW will be hosting special events designed to uplift local business, build community and celebrate culinary endeavors. Foodies can vote to crown their favorite MBRW experience.
