A man was killed in a shooting and was reportedly hit by a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood Sunday night, officials said.

City police responded about 10:30 p.m. to the 6900 block of Wiltsie Street following witness reports of possible gunshots in the area, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

Officers found a man in the street with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg, officials said. Responders provided first aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene after a short time.

Witnesses told police that the man — whose identity was not immediately released — had been struck by a vehicle after being shot, according to Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV.
