Sevion Morrison and Dominic Richardson are not school-hoppers.
Both played in high school at only one school; Morrison at Edison, Richardson at Bishop McGuinness in Oklahoma City.
The University of Tulsa is the third college for both, but neither was one-and-done at any stop. Morrison spent two seasons at Nebraska, then three at Kansas. Richardson spent three years at OSU, then two at Baylor.
Now the duo, the state’s top two tailbacks in the class of 2020, are Golden Hurricane teammates battling to be the primary ballcarrier in Tre Lamb’s first season as the TU head coach.
“Dominic Richardson, Seve Morrison … spectacular in the first two weeks,” Lamb said Sunday at TU Media Day.
