The stage is set for Southeast Michigan to have another hot and muggy day, with the “feels like” heat index reaching into the mid-90s on Monday and Tuesday.

On the storm front, there is potential for showers and thunderstorms for the Detroit and Ann Arbor area areas and their suburbs. Mid-afternoon and evening hours are the best bets for that rain on Monday and Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

A cold front coming in later Tuesday will give us a break from these high temperatures by Wednesday.
