A New Hampshire woman is facing multiple charges, including driving under the influence and assaulting a police officer, stemming from a traffic stop last week.

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Hudson police stopped a pink Jeep Wrangler on Lowell Road after seeing it speeding and having trouble staying in the travel lane.

The driver, identified by police as Kerry Coughlin, of Hudson, showed signs of impairment during the stop. Following a roadside investigation, officers determined that she was operating under the influence and placed her under arrest.

During the arrest and the booking process, police said Coughlin was uncooperative with officers and exhibited what they described as "combative behavior."
