Violations and comments on food-safety inspections conducted last week by the Delaware County Health Department of establishments with liquor licenses, with violations found at all five restaurants visited:

• In-use equipment and/or utensils in disrepair.

• Soil residue present on kitchen equipment

• Liquid hand soap not provided at the hand washing sink.

• Disposable paper towels not provided at the hand washing sink.

• Ice machine is not clean to sight and touch.

• Diced tomatoes are not marked with a use-by date.

• Food stored in an unapproved location on floor of walk in cooler.

• Soil residue present on fan in walk in refrigerator.

• Food employee used bare hands to handle ready to eat foods.

• Bottom of refrigerator is not clean to sight and touch.
