An East Lothian Oasis fan who was hoping to secure tickets for an Edinburgh show was 'amazed he didn't get scammed' after meeting up with a mystery man who claimed he had a spare ticket.

David Glynn, 33, was gutted after he didn't manage to get a hold of any tickets for the Murrayfield gigs. Around two weeks before Oasis were due to take to the stage, David began talking to Ifran - who was preparing to fly from Malaysia .

Ifran said he had a ticket that David could buy, and he would meet him in the capital to hand it over. David, from Prestonpans, admits it all sounded 'too good to be true'.

On Saturday, the pair met up at Murrayfield and even enjoyed a pint together - 'restoring David's faith in humanity'.
