HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - August is National Black Business Month and Bold Market is shining a light on the impact of black-owned businesses in north Alabama.

The month is also about raising awareness of the real challenges that black entrepreneurs still face in today's economy.

“It’s about trying to instill positive values in the community by example,” said Christopher Robinson of Equally Yoked.

Bold Market is set to celebrate black-owned businesses through culture and connections. The showcase features black-owned services and products from fashion, health and wellness and arts and design.
