Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato surprised fans with a nostalgic reunion during the Jonas Brothers' concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday night. The event marked the kickoff of the Jonas Brothers' 20th anniversary tour.

Joe Jonas, who starred as Shane Gray in the 2008 Disney Channel film "Camp Rock," opened the show by performing "Gotta Find You." He then invited Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in the movie, to join him on stage. The crowd erupted in applause as the two performed a medley of popular songs from the film, including "Wouldn’t Change a Thing" and "This Is Me."

After their performance, Joe noted that it had been nearly a decade since they last sang "This Is Me" together. Lovato humorously remarked that it might have been even longer. The two exes, who briefly dated in 2010, shared a moment backstage, where they lip-synced to Lovato's song "Wouldn’t Change a Thing" and to a viral speech by fellow Disney actress Debby Ryan. Lovato later posted the clip on social media, captioning it, "For the history books @joejonas."

Lovato's husband, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, expressed his pride on social media, sharing a video of her performance and writing, "Couldn’t be more proud. I love you sooo much baby @ddlovato."

Before Lovato's surprise appearance, the Jonas Brothers reflected on their time filming "Camp Rock." Nick Jonas shared how their father helped him and Kevin get involved in the movie after Joe was cast.

The concert also featured other special guests, including Jesse McCartney, who performed his hit "Beautiful Soul," and the brothers' former bodyguard, Big Rob, who joined them for "Burnin' Up."

Joe Jonas was previously married to actress Sophie Turner, with whom he shares two daughters. They finalized their divorce in September 2024. Lovato married Jutes in May 2023 after a year of dating.
