BOSTON (WWLP) - NBC Boston has obtained thousands of work-related emails sent from Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey's personal email account with ties to the Karen Read trial.

The emails, acquired after a 10-month request, include news articles and posts related to the case, which Morrissey shared with colleagues using his personal email.

NBC Boston reports that Morrissey shared posts by Aidan "Turtleboy" Kearney, a vocal supporter of Karen Read, through his personal email account.

Morrissey has been at the center of controversy for his role in overseeing the Karen Read case. The use of his personal email for work-related communications has raised questions about transparency and protocol.
