The Animal Rescue Fund (ARF), Jackson’s largest no-kill shelter, received an incredible gift of support this week thanks to one of its volunteers and her family.

Danielle has been volunteering with ARF for some time, walking dogs, bathing them, and helping with day-to-day needs. Recently, she noticed the shelter had all the materials needed to put up a new fence—but no extra time or manpower to get it done.

Wanting to help, Danielle recruited her dad and brother to join the effort. Together, they put in the work to build the fence, creating a safe, secure area for the dogs to enjoy.

“WOW! They did a fantastic job,” ARF staff said. “The dogs are so happy, and we are eternally grateful to Danielle and her family for making this happen.”
