The Detroit Tigers earned their first series win of August this past weekend, having taken two of three from the visiting Los Angeles Angels inside Comerica Park. They will spend the next seven games on the road facing fellow American League Central opponents.

First leg of the road swing takes AJ Hinch and Co. to the Windy City to face the Chicago White Sox in a three-game series starting on Monday. Just 4-6 over the past 10 games, the Sox had lost six in a row — including a sweep at the Seattle Mariners — before preventing another sweep with a win against the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday; they have posted a minus-75 run differential this summer so far.
