The 38th annual Tyendinaga Traditional Pow Wow attracted thousands during two days of honour, reflection, and celebration at the Tsi Tkerhetoton Park in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory on the weekend.
“We follow the traditions of pow wows that have been happening for thousands of years, it being that, your pow wow is what you capture in your mind and your thoughts, and your heart,” said master of ceremonies Lance DeLisle before the opening ceremony.
