Pizza in the garden – and pizza from the garden – is on the menu at this newish east Multnomah County hidden pizza gem.

Lolo’s Boss Pizza, which has locations in Troutdale and Fairview along Northeast Halsey Street, is beloved by locals in east county for its “farm-to-pizza” pies.

The pizzeria, originally called The Way Out Inn, began in Troutdale’s historic downtown before expanding to a second location in Fairview.

The Fairview location opened in July 2024, and the “secret” pizza garden began to take shape behind the restaurant in April 2025.

Surrounded by seven-foot-tall sunflowers, pizza lovers can eat a private lunch or dinner at a table-for-two under a grape arbor. The space is also a working kitchen garden, producing zucchini, cucumbers, hot peppers, tomatoes and a variet
