AKRON, Ohio (WJW) -- If you've ever dreamed of flying in the Goodyear Blimp, this could be your chance! But it'll cost you.

The nonprofit Bounce Innovation Hub, located in downtown Akron, has launched a silent auction for two seats aboard the iconic blimp.

Proceeds of the silent auction are said to support Bounce's strategic plan, which helps provide resources to local entrepreneurs and drive economic growth.

The silent auction is now open. According to organizers, bidding for the two-seat experience started at $1,500 and will climb in $100 increments. As of 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the highest bid was $5,100 for the pair of tickets.

The auction will close Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m
