CLINTON COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) -- A person was arrested after recording devices were discovered in portable bathrooms in St. Rose, Illinois.

Clinton County Sheriff Dan Travous said in a press release that detectives identified a suspect after the devices were found at the St. Rose Church Picnic on August 9. The suspect was arrested Monday afternoon.

The devices were found on the north side of the school gymnasium.

The press release said data from the recordings were not transferred. The videos were almost completely dark and no victims were recognizable, according to Travous.

Travous said the sheriff’s office will collect more evidence and present a case to the state’s attorney’s office.
