ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - New video and 911 call records are raising questions about police response the night a 17-year-old girl was shot outside a short-term rental in South City.

“A failure on the Police’s part”

Residents along Minnesota Avenue say they called 911 multiple times on Saturday, August 2, as a party at the rental grew out of control.

A TikTok video from that night shows what appears to be juveniles fighting in the street.

“It’s a failure on the police’s part for not showing up,” said neighbor Amanda Arney.

Some neighbors say their calls went unanswered. Others claim officers didn’t arrive until long after the shooting.
