GILLETT, Pa. (WETM) – A Gillett man has been arrested on various charges after officials say he attempted to set a trailer on fire in Bradford County in late July.

Paul M. Crispell Jr, 42, was arrested on the following charges, as stated in a release from Pennsylvania State Police: • Arson with the intent to destroy an unoccupied building (second-degree felony) • Terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another • Simple assault

Officials say Crispell was charged with the crimes after an incident that occurred on July 29, 2025, in Wells Township. At this time, officials say they were called to a trailer on Roaring Run Rd. for the report of Crispell attempting to burn down a trailer that the victim was living in.
