High school seniors can now apply for the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship; online applications opened on Friday, Aug. 1.
High school seniors must be United States citizens and plan to enroll in a four-year undergraduate program at an accredited college or university in America. College and university enrollment must be full time, with at least 12 credits a semester.
If applicants are permanent legal residents and not United States citizens, they cannot apply for the Most Valuable Student Scholarship. High school graduates are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. It is for current high school seniors only.
The top 20 finalists, which are chosen from 500 semifinalists, receive a $30,000 scholarship award over four years. Remaining semifinalists receive $
