NEW BRUNSWICK – Rutgers has tapped a longtime administrator with an extensive background in state government for a newly created executive position charged with overseeing the administrative functions at the school.
The University Finance and Administration department, which includes University Human Resources and the Office of Information Technology, will report to Kimberly Lewis, along with Institutional Planning and Operations.
Lewis, whose appointment by Rutgers President William Tate IV was endorsed at a special meeting of the Board of Governors on Monday morning, most recently served as the chief administrative officer at Louisiana State University, where she oversaw all financial and administrative strategy.
