FORREST COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - An Assistant District Attorney in Forrest County is filing a motion to revoke the bond for a former award-winning Petal teacher.
Tyler Shows, a former Petal Upper Elementary School teacher and winner of the Milken Educator Award, was arrested in 2024 and charged with two counts of lustful touching of a minor and one misdemeanor count of dissemination of sexually explicit material to a minor .
Last month, in July, he was charged with three counts of child exploitation . Shows bonded out on July 23, the same day he was arraigned in Forrest County.
