PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) - An arrest has been made in the Taylorsville armed robbery that happened roughly three months ago on May 13.

Taylorsville Police Department arrested Joshua Caleb Morgan, a 39-year-old man from Seminary, on August 6. He is accused of being the man who robbed Smoke City 2 at gunpoint.

Through the investigation, several items were recovered that were used in the armed robbery - including an outfit, shoes, and a gun.

TPD wants to send a big thank you to the citizens of Taylorsville and Covington County for helping the department make an arrest.
