PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) - A Mississippi man is being held without bond after Paragould police said he recorded himself having sex with a child.
Greene County District Court Judge Daniel Stidham found probable cause to charge 26-year-old Barry Yarbrough of Noxapater, Miss., with one count of computer exploitation of a child, a Class Y felony, and one count of fourth-degree sexual assault, a Class D felony.
Detective Lieutenant Robert Sexton said he was notified of an “ongoing sexual assault investigation in another jurisdiction.”
According to the affidavit, the alleged incident took place in Paragould.
After further investigation, Sexton said he discovered that Yarbrough had sexual intercourse with a child “multiple times, and created digital recordings of the sexual activity.”
