Dolphins running back Alexander Mattison, one of the best performers in training camp, sustained a neck injury in Sunday’s 24-24 preseason opener at Chicago and has undergone season-ending surgery, according to a ESPN report . Mattison was taken by ambulance to a hospital Sunday in Chicago where he had the surgery, according to the report.
