4-year-old Rykelan Brown’s father pleads guilty to killing him 2 months after getting custody

Syracuse, N.Y. — The father of 4-year-old Rykelan Brown today admitted in court to beating his son to death.

Joshua Emmons, 27, pleaded guilty today in Onondaga County Court to first-degree manslaughter for killing Rykelan in May of last year.
