After not utilizing the transfer portal for much of the last few seasons, Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney embraced it this offseason.

And for that embrace and the return of quarterback Cade Klubnik, among other notable returners, the Tigers enter the 2025 season with a notable buzz and hype surrounding themselves.

That hype was reminded about on Monday, when Swinney's Tigers were ranked at No. 4 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll, the highest ranking for any ACC team and Clemson 's highest preseason ranking in the poll since 2022, when they were ranked preseason No. 4.
