FAYETTEVILLE -- The Fayetteville Utilities Department is asking residential and commercial customers in east Fayetteville and Goshen to reduce their water use immediately, according to a Monday news release.
Due to dry conditions and extreme heat, the city's water system is experiencing increased demand, resulting in reduced water pressure for some customers, the release states.
The affected area is east of North Crossover Road, particularly in areas off Arkansas 45 (East Mission Boulevard), Arkansas 16 (East Huntsville Road) and East Wyman Road.
